Gene Mooneyham took his '34 Ford street rod and turned it into an all-out racing machine. Under the body, everything is as stark as can be. The car was originally powered by a flathead Ford, but that didn't last long. Gene dropped in a supercharged, fuel injected Chrysler Hemi that ran of 60 to 70 percent nitro! That was a pretty stiff load back in the '60s. As A Junior Eliminator class car, the car ran low 9's and was always a crowd favorite at the Southern California tracks.
This car is considered by many to be the "grandfather" of the AA/Fuel Altered.
